Integrated Transport Thematic Group

The Integrated Transport thematic group is made up of representatives of organisations who have both a strategic interest and ability to make a contribution to transport strategies and plans within the West Lancashire district.

The group is commissioned by West Lancashire Local Strategic Partnership. It is hosted by West Lancashire Borough Council and meets on a regular basis according to the requirements of the group. The group oversaw the West Lancashire Integrated Transport Review. The group's main roles are: to make connections with other strategies and plans with regard to transport; to identify existing information relating to transport in the district; and to identify key issues and trends with the aim of developing and delivering an action plan for transport within West Lancashire.
